Autonomous Photography

My autonomous photography is a space of personal exploration—intuitive, reflective. It is where I reconnect with the world through light, form, and time, often guided by quiet observation and spontaneous encounters.

Architecture, urban traces, and transient moments frequently find their way into my lens. This work stands apart from my project-based work, offering room for experimentation, investigation, and ambiguity.

The equestrian statue of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, situated outside the Royal Exchange, now referred to as the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow, Scotland, stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks. Sculpted by Italian artist Carlo Marochetti, it was erected in 1844 following public subscription to commemorate the successful conclusion in 1815 of the lengthy French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. Since at least the 1980s, it has been humorously adorned with a traffic cone by members of the public. 2023 Glasgow
